The fire services scope included modifications and extensions to the existing sprinkler system to accommodate the new floor layouts, which featured a mix of open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms, breakout areas, and utility spaces. New sprinkler heads were installed in accordance with AS 2118.1, with careful hydraulic calculations ensuring pressure and coverage requirements were achieved throughout. All works were coordinated closely with architectural elements, including feature ceilings and exposed services, to maintain visual consistency and system accessibility.
Fire detection and alarm systems were upgraded to suit the revised tenancy layout, with smoke and heat detectors, EWIS speakers, and manual call points strategically installed in accordance with AS 1670.1. All devices were integrated with the base building fire indicator panel, with full system testing and commissioning completed to AS 1851 standards.
Fire extinguishers and hose reels were installed and repositioned as required, in line with AS 2444. Each device was mounted in accessible, compliant locations, with clear signage to ensure quick identification and use during an emergency.
